I didn't blame Westbrook for the loss against the Nuggets and I didn't blame him for game one of this series. Game one the Thunder gave up to many second chance points. This game however was Westbrook's and Coach Brook's fault. The Thunder were in control all the way up to the fourth quarter ,although I do think you could make an argument they were losing control at the end of the third. For some reason our coach can't control the players in the fourth quarter. The offense just stops. At the end of this game Westbrook was clearly the problem. You can't just dribble the ball up the court and then not pass it around. You have to move the ball around, that is how people get open. It creates flow within the offense. The other thing you have to do is get the ball to the best player and that is Durant. I never want to see Westbrook wave off Durant again. That was ridiculous.  Westbrook is coming off as selfish lately and no Thunder fan should like that. We have to many offensive weapons to have our point guard dribble the ball around the court for fifteen seconds and then pull up for a contested three, without any passes. This is our coach's fault because he won't take control of the situation. He has to step in and say "Westbrook we are going to run our offense and that starts with Durant!" Somebody needs to remind Westbrook he is a point guard and his first job is to create plays for teammates, not for himself. Reminding him of that should be the coach's job. Coach Brooks and Westbrook are very young in their profession ,but it just pains me to watch them let this opportunity slip away because of stupid mistakes. Do I think we can still win this series? Absolutely, but only if we fix these problems because the Grizzlies are simply tougher and have way more confidence then we do, as of right now.
