Another learning experience for our young Thunder team. They took home court advantage for granted and got mopped all over the floor during the first three quarters of the game. They did such a great job getting a win in Dallas in the last game ,but they failed to finish the job and claim home court advantage in this series. Durant was simply terrible in this game. He missed open shot after open shot and he took to long to start driving to the hoop. The bench after being so good in the last game didn't show up at all. Collison to me has been the only consistent player in this series. I'm still very disappointed in Durant though. He is our superstar and he has to show up every night and he didn't tonight. I'm still waiting for him to step up and be our Kobe. He did it one time in the Nuggets series ,but hasn't been that guy since. I think he will get there ,but I just wish he'd get there now. Westbrook and the defense playing much better was the reason why we got back into this game. Westbrook kept hitting big shot after big shot for us ,but then we got back into the game and he fell apart once again. I wish I could go a game without getting on his case ,but until he stops making crucial mistakes, I just can't. Once again he got over aggressive at the end and it cost us some key possessions. I'm really getting anxious for the day when he matures into his point guard role and becomes a floor leader we can count on every single possession. Both of our stars were disappointing at times tonight ,but they are young and have plenty of time to learn. Once again I'm just hoping that their time is now ,but games like these don't help their chances. The other thing I'm concerned about is how much fuel the Thunder have left in the tank. They just survived a tough 7 game series with the Grizzlies and now they just came from 20 down to still lose. It's looking like it's going to be another long series and I hope they have the physical energy and emotional energy left to win this thing. One thing that we can all agree on is that they have to win Game 4.
