This would be the worst possible thing that could happen in the West especially for our Thunder. Just when it seemed as if the talent of powers was shifting to the East paving the way for an easier road to the title for the Thunder we hear this news. Sure it hasn't happened yet ,but just the thought of it is scary. The Thunder are the only young up and coming team in the West closest to being built to win future titles. The Spurs are getting older and so are the Lakers ,but if they get Anthony that changes everything. It starts a whole new potential dynasty for them because I'm sure he would sign an extension. Nobody ever turns down L.A. once they get there. It would be Kobe, Anthony, and Gasol for the next 4-5 years going to championships together. It would be the first super team in the west. We would probably end up being their Sacramento Kings of the last decade. We would make it to the Western Conference Finals ,but never get past them. Nobody wants to be that team. We need to pray that the Knicks swoop in and get him. Let the East beat up on themselves for years to come. We don't need a bump in the road and that is exactly what the Lakers would be with Anthony.
