Congratulations to Kevin Durant, who was named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week.
Heat's James, Thunder's Durant Named Players of the Week | NBA.com
Durant averaged 29.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per game during the week of Jan. 31 to Feb. 6, leading the Thunder to a 3-0 record during that time span. He joins the Heat's LeBron James in winning the honor. In each of the three games, Durant had a double-double, and his high point total was his ridiculous 43 points off of 14-19 shooting in the Thunder's win against the Hornets on Feb. 2.
By my count, this is Durant's first Player of the Week honor, which means the unofficial scorecard reads:
Russell Westbrook: 2, Durant: 1
