Loud Links 1|18|11

Rough game last night, but not for naught. There are lessons to be learned. Hopefully the first one would be, when you find that 3-pointers aren't going in, stop shooting them.

Game recap will be coming up later today.

John Rohde provides the deadline write-up of last night's game. Indeed the Lakers were a model of efficiency. They didn't waste many opportunities.

John Rohde offers up his post-game notes following last night's loss. He notes that 3-point shooting on both sides of the ball was the big difference.

A Lot of Missed Opportunities as in 3s | Daily Thunder

Young remains optimistic despite the loss. It would have been nice to finally end the road losses to the Lakers, but I think that their rematch in OKC will give us a different ending. One missed opportunity he did not mention, and granted it does not play a huge factor at the mid-season point, is the fact that the Thunder missed an opportunity to go up one game on the Jazz and also pull practically even with the Lakers in the standings.

NBA fines vs In-N-Out Burgers. Who You Got? | LA Times

You get one guess as to whom uttered this  great quote:

"I didn't want to give [the fine money] away...I could've bought 10,000 In-N-Out Burgers. I rather would've done that than give it away. I'm going to get 10 burgers [after the game]. I love In-N-Out. It's addicting. It's the only reason I'm here in L.A. If it wasn't for In-N-Out Burger, I probably would've gone to Memphis or something."

Is Charles Barkley Coming to OKC? | NewsOK

The Oklahoman's Jenni Carlson had previously called out Charles for not fulfilling his promise to visit, after he made some typical Barkley-incendiary comments. Now that he's been called out by his studio co-host, perhaps he'll re-think his position.
