What Will Durant Do With His Money? | Thunder Rumblings
"Ask my mother what she wants," Durant ensured. "Whatever she wants I’m going to try to get it for her. She sacrificed so much for me so it’s whatever she wants. New car, new house, whatever."
Thunder notebook: Byron Mullens impresses in win over Philadelphia | NewsOK.com
Byron Mullens continues turning heads in Orlando. The Thunder's second-year center scored 16 points on 7-for-8 shooting to go with six rebounds in Wednesday's 89-80 win over Philadelphia. In the Thunder's opening summer league game against Boston, Mullens scored 24 points on 6-for-12 shooting while pulling down seven rebounds. Although he scored only 12 points on 2-for-12 shooting Tuesday vs. Charlotte, Mullens maintained his aggressiveness. He got to the free throw line 12 times and blocked two shots.
THUNDER: Catching Up With Daequan Cook
So, what brings you to Orlando? "I’ve just been working out with KD (Kevin Durant) in the mornings. I just came over from Miami last night to work out today, tomorrow and Friday with KD."
Kevin Durant vs. Sam Bradford: Who’s bigger? | Berry Tramel's Blog
Durant has come to symbolize Oklahoma City. He is rapidly becoming the face of OKC. Perhaps not Oklahoma, where football still reigns supreme, but most definitely in Oklahoma City. And that status will only grow Durant gets bigger and the Thunder gets better.
THUNDER: Thunder Acquires Cole Aldrich and Morris Peterson
"We are pleased to welcome Cole and Morris to the Thunder organization," said Presti. "Cole brings a blue collar approach to the defensive end of the floor that complements our current core as we continue to build our team in Oklahoma City. Morris adds more shooting to our roster in addition to his professionalism and experience."
Durant's Quiet Agreement Makes Sonics Move Sadder - The Daily Drip - SB Nation Seattle
Adande is right to temper the lovefest (or descent into depression) by noting the potential financial benefits of this deal to Durant. But let's be real: signing this extension a year before he had to is exactly the kind of commitment and loyalty Cleveland fans can only wish to have seen from King James. Not to suggest that the timing was deliberate, but Durant's quiet signing almost makes him heroic in stark contrast to James' televised villainy.
Nick Collison’s Two-Day Adventure | Thunder Rumblings
Nick Collison has had his eyes set on a family vacation. At some point over the next couple of years, the Thunder’s power forward was going to take his family to Disney World. Oddly enough, knee surgery fast-forwarded his timeline.

As far as I'm concerned
When taking all things into account KD is the perfect model for an NBA player, and I wouldn’t give him up for a world’s worth of talent. As a Thunder and a Wizards fan, I haven’t been the biggest fan of James (especially after the OKC-CLE game…smh), but I also recognize that he is clearly the best basketball player in the league right now. However, even if it justified his arrogance, to me his conceit shines brighter than his skills. I would hate for him to be the face of any franchise I was a fan of.
I have...
no problem with Sonic fans hating the ownership, I do feel for the actual fans up there. But, It really pisses me off when some of them sㅐ!ㅜ on the OKC (the city).

Not bashing Seattle here, but...
Somehow, I kinda feel worse for the Cleveland fans. At least they supported their team. They have no chance to win now. :(

I really do feel bad for them
They didn’t deserve the crap Lebron put them through, and seriously, even as a Laker fan, I’m rooting for them in the future.
Btw did you see the open letter from Dan Gilbert to Cavs fans?
freakin awesome

it was awesome…too bad he made some of those move to kiss the kings ass because without jamison’s deal they would have legit cap money to rebuild right now.
ya...
for sure, when the player tries to run things it’s not good. if the lakers would have done that with kobe no championships
