Didn't even stick around for the 2nd round?
Pleiss was a big pick for me. Especially at 31.
Buying Latavious Williams’ pick was a move I didn’t expect. I’m not sure what Presti sees in him. Perhaps Presti just like keeping the 66ers competitive.

We were keeping track of what went on but we wanted to start recording so we could get the show out. As it was, we were up until almost 2:00.

I dunno...
we’ve obviously gotten a pretty good look at the guy, if he doesn’t have potential i feel like we’d let him leave.

Presti did great things with this draft.
He turned a second round pick into Daequan Cook- a young great 3 point shooter AND a future CLIPPERS first round pick.
He turned the 21st and 26th pick into Cole Aldrich and Mo Pete (who has only 1 more year on his contract).
And still got his German center he is high on. I don’t get why people are complaining, this was a GREAT day for the Thunder
I can’t see why anyone would complain. The Great Impresti struck again and turned late-round picks into two experienced players and a potential center for the future.

He turned the 32nd pick into Cook(a shooter) and a future first(likely lottery b/c come on its the Clippers).
He turned the 21st and 26th picks into a top 11 pick and a very solid center that will at worst be a long-term backup, which means he’ll have a ton of value.
He acquired on of the 3 bigs that he wanted(IMO those 3 were Sanders, Seraphin, and Pleiss). I do think at 18 he wanted either Sanders or Seraphin but with both off the board can’t really blame him too much for taking a likely lottery pick from the Clips. 18 was too high to take Pleiss and they were able to get him for cash much later.
Overall good, solid draft. Can’t complain too much. We addressed needs, got value, acquired extra assets/trade chips, kept flexibility, and didn’t give up one of the core guys.
like what the Thunder did
but I’m definitely not convinced Aldrich is a starter in the NBA. He has value as a need pick, certainly, but I’m a little surprised Presti would go the safe route. I guess, after hitting so many home runs, it was alright to bunt.
