OKC Twitter Banter
It's slow in the off-season. But, there's no off-season for Twitter. Here are some notable recent OKC Thunder tweets:
PROPS to @jareddudley619. At 2-0, JMZ insisted Suns would just pull an OKC and win two at home. And I stood at his locker tryin not to scoff

I like how winning both your home games after losing the first two games of a series is now known as "pulling an OKC." It's also like how the Thunder are still on the minds of NBA media and fans. I think next year we can expect a lot more national games. Give the people what the want!
Had a good workout..worked on my triple threat jab step game, ballhandling, pick n rolls and alotta shots..time to relax n make beats now!
Good workout...got a hour to rest then gotta go back for on the court drills and pool workout, after the pool ima b outta commission smh lol

It's nice to see our heart, soul, and leader putting in hard work during the off-season. I hope he comes back bigger, faster, and stronger. The rest of the league does not.
Did you know Serge Ibaka has a Flickr account? The titles are my favorite. HIGH FIVE. http://www.flickr.com/photos/sergeibaka/

I did not know that. And, that is awesome. Any more access to IBLOCKa is welcome. I'm on a fledging quest to get Serge on twitter. By his teammate's accounts he is the funniest player on the team. It would be nice for the fans to see some of his humor. Plus, never hurts to practice his English.
I need to get my priorties and my shit str8 asap...until then everythig must go...so Twitter it was cool...peace

Wow. So, I guess Uncle decided Twitter was too much of a distraction. It is a little disappointing, but if that's what he thinks he has to do to get better then more power to him.
ALL MY FOLLOWERS FOOLLOW MY WHY NOT PAGE!!!!. NOWW LOL . . @WHYN0TTT

I don't really know the entire story. But, I guess a reporter asked why he could be a PG in the NBA or something and RW0 responded with "Why not?" Anyone got the exact story or link? Anyways, Russ is now branding this as his phrase, I like it. Especially because of all the haters from last season (looks over at Jim Traber). He's selling Live Strong type bracelets now.

from what i read a while back..
The why not? comes from him having to believe he can do anything if he tries with all he has because he feels he can be gone at any time. His best friend he grew up across the street from was on his team in high school was a highly recruited star player. He collapsed unexpectedly during a game and passed away. I believe russ got his spot and developed well enough to take a spot where his best friend was gonna go. He said that’s the only reason he is where he is and plays every second for his friend and cause it could be his last. The why not? Came from people asking him why he thinks he can be a great point guard. The bracelet bears the initials and or number of his deceased friend as well.

I hate the fact that Green is leaving his tweeting brethren behind, but his numbers this year could be related to when he started tweeting over the past summer. Interesting thought.
Loud City Resident - Barring trade, I see this happening:
21: Seraphin, 26: Paul George, 32: Pittman or J. Jordan. 51: Greivis Vasquez
Concerning Bron, Bosh, and Boozer. I could care less.
