Shakur released after 10-day contract expired

You probably didn't even notice and it probably matters not a whit in the larger picture of things (at least from our perspective), but it's on USA Today so kudos to Shakur for getting some press. He didn't play in a single game, and this release was to be expected given that he was there really as another warm body/depth backup.

I really have no idea why we signed this guy at all.

I guess he was nice to have around in practice. He’ll have fun back in Tulsa, I’m sure.

I didn’t really think anything would come out of it but we had a lot of games with garbage time over the past 10 days and I’m a bit upset that we didn’t see him even a little bit.
