This also counts as an open thread, so feel free to post your thoughts during the game here.

Time: 7:00 PM Central Standard Time

Place: The Ford Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

TV: Fox Sports Oklahoma, Fox Sports South

Radio: WWLS The Sports Animal (98.1)

Enemy Blog(s): Peachtree HoopsHoopinion

Previous Meeting(s): Jan 18th

Backstory: The win against the Hawks in January was huge, as we beat one of the Eastern Conference elite while equaling last years win total in half of the time. As long as the Thunder can rely on 3 main scorers while limiting Joe Johnson to a bad shooting percentage, they'll always be in shot of winning. Since the game is at home, I think they can pull it out.

Prediction: Oklahoma City 96, Atlanta 95

C'mon Thunder

You might have to shoot better than 18% to win this game.

First quarter

Defense played well and they did a good job rebounding to make up for the poor early shooting. KD started to take over though and they ended up tied.

Great job by the bench.

19 points and great defense being played off of the bench so far. Harden and Ibaka are lighting it up. I love it!

Halftime!

2nd quarter seemed opposite of the first quarter. OKC controlled most of the quarter off of some excellent bench play. After the starters came back ATL made a run to tie it back up going in to the half.

Amazing

So this is what it’s like when the Thunder control the boards.

OKC has been playing a good game. They’ve played decent defense but Johnson has kept the Hawks in the game with some fantastic shooting. The Thunder are doing a good job on the boards and getting multiple opportunities which is helping to make up for them shooting less than stellar. The bench has been excellent.

Yeah, the Hawks have been shooting great in the 4th and the end of the 3rd. I think they are 5 for the last 6 threes and Johnson has been dominant in the last 6 minutes.

Krstic

He’s actually been playing like he has a pulse in the second half. Getting offensive rebounds and playing much more aggressive than normal. I’m actually impressed by his second half performance.

Great freaking game Thunder

And now from the Useless Information Department: the Thunder are 25-10 when they win the 3rd quarter, 2-11 when they don’t. In those 10 losses, we were ahead after three quarters 6 times, within 3 points once, and went into the 3rd quarter trailing by double digits 5 times. You noticed that doesn’t add up to ten? That’s because twice we went into halftime down double digits, won the 3rd quarter by enough to get the lead, then lost the game. Sucks doesn’t it.

How the hell did that happen? I am Trailblazer fan to the core but I love me some OKC THunder!!! Must be the Hometown pride I feel.

I'll Say it now so you guys can know I'm a true follower: "In Pioli I Trust"
Go Chiefs!!!!!
