Records: The Oklahoma City Thunder (2-2) vs. The Portland Trailblazers (4-1)
Time: 9:30 PM Central Daylight Time
Place: The Rose Garden, Portland, Oregon
TV: Turner Network Television Only
Radio: WWLS The Sports Animal (98.1), Newsradio 750 KXL

After yet another terrible performance, the Thunder are 2-2 and have to face the Trailblazers in Portland on the second end of a back-to-back. Sigh. Portland has been one of the best teams in the West so far, and they are a very similar organization to our own. They didn't make any major moves over the off-season, preferring to sign a couple of draft picks and move around their backups. Wes Matthews of the Jazz was arguably the biggest off-season pickup, and he provides decent offense off of the bench. They also signed Fabricio Oberto, an average center.
Other than a couple of other late draft picks, the Trailblazers have kept largely the same. They're still led by Brandon Roy, organized by Andre Miller, and helped out by Batum, Aldridge, and Camby. They still play the same grind-it-out, boring game that everyone hates to watch. With the Thunder's recent offensive drought, this game will turn out to be incredibly boring and low scoring. I expect the Thunder to lose by about 10, and for this game to be as fun to watch as some Division III college basketball until the fourth quarter. Harumph. Bah Humbug.
Prediction: Portland 92, Oklahoma City 81

Im a huge blazer fan but I’m a little nervous about tonight, Durant will be ready to silence all the critics of his season, and blazers just might be the victims. Wish I could hate Durant but he is an all around class act, so i have to love him.

losing to two winless teams in a row was enough to tick Brooks off hard enough to light a fire under a few players’ butts.

Scored 28, and shot really well. I think the Thunder were trying to get away from the “constantly attack the basket” mentality that has led them to bad losses in the past.
