The good news is that there's only three games left on the Pre-Season Schedule. The bad news is that we have to suffer through all of them on the radio. Tonight, the Thunder take on the rock-solid San Antonio Spurs. Of course, San Antonio's record is just as bad as ours (2-2), but they give sparing minutes to their starters, and never play them late in the game. In the most recent game, rotation players saw no burn at all. I don't know if the same will be true for tonight's game, but I hope it is, because I don't want to have missed out on our first look at Tiago Splitter.
And of course, there's the usual storyline of how well Jeff Green will do tonight, whether the rookies will be worth anything, if the Training Camp Invitees are threatening to make the roster, and et cetera. But in the end, I think the Thunder will play their starters more often, and come out with the meaningless Pre-Season W.
Prediction: Oklahoma City 100, San Antonio 88
