Thunder drop the ball with first pick

The fact that Harden is a better pick than Rubio, Curry, etc. is not important. The important thing is that by the Thunder selecting Harden at #3 instead of trading back and taking him at #6 since no one else was interested in him means that the Thunder really dissapointed in this draft. This was a bad pick for the same reason that the Mario Williams pick was the wrong pick a few years ago. Everyone wanted to take Reggie Bush and Vince Young. The Texans should have traded the pick down, picked up a second rounder and taken Williams with the third or fourth pick. OKC would have been better off trading down to Minnesota at #5 or #6 and picking up their 18th pick as well. Not sure what went down to take Harden at #3, but I stated a few weeks ago that you have to either take Rubio with that pick or trade down and pick up another pick/another player. Really dissapointed in the way things turned out. Hopefully this is all for nothing and Harden lives up to the #3 selection.
