Rumor that Rubio doesn't want to play for OKC

Rubio doesn’t want to go to Memphis, and he especially does not want to pay money out of his own pocket with that huge buyout for the honor of doing so. Fegan [Rubio’s agent] wants him in L.A., and if he can’t have him there, he wants him in Sacramento. Definitely not Oklahoma City.

I have also heard from somewhere that he'd like to play for NY Knicks.

My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Considering it would cost him $7.5M of his own money to come stateside,

I can definitely see the reasoning in not wanting to come over unless he feels it’s a situation that he is happy with. So he doesn’t get to play in the NBA; I doubt he’ll be crying much living like a star in his home country banging all the spanish babes he wants.
