Looking For Your XBOX Sports Gaming Fix?

So the Thunder are about to take on the Blazers in a couple of hours, but in the meantime, I wanted to give a shoutout to my good friends over at XBOX Sports. If you are a gamer like I am, and are looking for a great place to join, interact, and play in online leagues with a really great group of guys, XBOX-Sports is the best place on the net to do just that. The site offers a variety of features, including integrated scoreboards for all hosted leagues. I played in the Madden league earlier this year, and the scoreboard just blew my mind, its quite spectacular. I also played in their NBA league, and had a blast, but unfortunately because of time constraints (this blog mainly), I was unable to continue when they started their new season. Their motto is "Compete, Respect, and Enjoy" and especially for us older gamers, its nice to have a place where you don't have to weed through all the idiots before you find some really cool people to play against.

The website itself uses the slick vBulletin forum system, and the site designer/owner has done a truly tremendous job of building a very clean and sharp looking design. When it comes to web forums in general, its hard to beat vBulletin, in my opinion, but the defualt vB skins are quite hideous, and its nice to see a sports gaming website that took the extra time to customize and design their own skin. Anyway, just wanted to let any of you gamers out there know about a really great community for sports games on the XBOX 360 Platform. Check them out.
