This is for sure. We’ll be at a huge disadvantage without him. Collison is listed as day to day as well, and going up against Chandler, we need him inside.

Sefolosha was an awesome pick up

I don’ t know why the Bulls wanted to part ways with him. Oh well. That’s their loss.

the thing is they wanted to "free salary space"...

in other words, they never got to understand thabo’s potential and just thought getting rid of them would make them more competitive in the 2010 free agency market..

In other words again, they try to escape their financial struggle after having signed ridiculous contracts (Deng, Hinrich).

Good for OKC, shame on the bulls!! :-)

Glad to see Thabo finally get major playing time and develop into the type of player he really can be... :-) Thank you Pax for releasing him from Vinny's doggy house!!

Bulls got rid of Thabo cuz they are idiots.

pure stupidy. there is not one player on th eBulls roster that you could ahve replaced with thabo in that trade and the thunder would still have 13 maybe 14 wins instead of 17.

I forgive the Bulls because thabo is my favorite player in the NBA and has been since his rookie year.

John Paxson really believed in thabo but he could not bring himself to rid the damn bulls of Hinrich and/or Gordon and even deng for that matter.

Thabo is a better all-around player than all these soft little whiny biothes. deng is brittle. Hinrich is tough but very limited in his effect on the game. Gordon is an elite scorer but that’s it. if his shot is off or a defense is determined to take the ball out of Gordon’s hands or trap Gordon he becomes not only useless but Gorodn will end up having a jamal drawford or larry hughes black hole effect on his team.

When thabo got minutes and was allowed to play through mistakes he did the same stuff for the Bulls that he is doing right now for the Thunder…and in time his outside shot will fall. its written all over him…he’s a worker, a fighter, a competitor. he’s a defender.

he represents everythign that is good and right about the game of basketball. he will become a fan favorite for the non-casual fans that actually understand the game and it takes 5 guys working in harmony to create open shots and then get stops on the other end.

Bulls traded thabo cuz they are morons. simple as that.

…and he’s doing just that. The impact he has made on this team is hands down UNBELIEVABLE!

Thabo -SG/SF and Hinrich -PG

SD20: I hope you realize that Hinrich (PG) and Thabo (SG/F) play different positions. Pax should trade Gordon 2-3 yrs ago so that the Bulls coaches had no choice but playing Thabo (no matter how stupid Skiles and Vinny are). Trading Hinrich would not make playing time for Thabo because Hinrich was their only starting-caliber PG.

Kirk has some PF minutes with VDN!

Nothing would have given Thabo consistent minutes.. just like Tyrus Thomas… VDN is hands down the best player ruiner i know… even DRose is sucked down by VDN’s lack of brains..

Glad to see Thabo finally get major playing time and develop into the type of player he really can be... :-) Thank you Pax for releasing him from Vinny's doggy house!!

Too true.

"You remember the first time you picked up a basketball video game and you had no idea how to run plays, so you just gave the ball to your shooter and you ran around the court aimlessly until a defender was far enough away and then you jacked up a shot? THAT IS LARRY HUGHES!"
