To really get to know him. Joe Smith wasn't a part of the Thunder future, and he will no longer be part of the present -- http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3944828

Not a big loss since he hadn't been a part of the rotation, but it still hurts since Smith acted like he wanted to be in Oklahoma City. Cleveland now has the upper hand to sign him with Ben Wallace going down, but do we really care now?

I liked Joe "Automatic"

But he’s been out of the rotation for awhile and probably got a little disgruntle after the whole Chandler mess. Bottom line is the team seems to be getting the young guys as much experience as possible down the stretch, so he wasn’t going to be getting on the court too much anyway, so not a huge loss…especially considering he wasn’t going to be here next year anyway.

I still don’t understand why you would play Rose over Smith. Petro is playing minutes for a good Nuggets team. Quality teams want to grab Smith. I saw Wilcox get some run in a Knicks jersey last night. Am I missing something?
