Why the All-Star game is a joke.

NBA.com released their latest update to the All-Star balloting here and not entirely surprising Allen Iverson and Tracy McGrady are second place in guard balloting in their respective leagues.
Kevin Durant is fifth place among forwards behind Carmelo Anthony, Dirk Nowitzki, Tim Duncan, and Pau Gasol and is the only Thunder player to make the list.
I'm not totally sure whether this makes me want to vote more or stop altogether, but it is good for a giggle or two. On second thought, it would be hilarious to see T-Mac in the ASG.

Rockets All stars ….. Lol I know to a fact deserving players like Kd and Brandon roy will get voted in by the coaches …. So no worries ! Plus RW0 will kill em in the soph rook game !!!!
How the hell did that happen? I am Trailblazer fan to the core but I love me some OKC THunder!!! Must be the Hometown pride I feel.

now that is has been mentioned.
I’m very interested in the Rookie/Sophmore game. Do you guys think the Thunder could have multiple rookies playing? Such as Harden, Ibaka, and Maynor? I’m pretty sure Harden is in. This draft class was pretty low on big men, so I really think Ibaka has a chance. How many bigs can that put ahead of him? I can only think of Thabeet, Griffin, Blair, Hill, and Mullens.

with every single article that comes out concerning AI and Mcgrady and others that do not truly belong in the All Star Game this year, i am starting to realize that “my vote really doesnt matter” and the ASG has now become just a circus.
