Oklahoma City fell to the Houston Rockets Saturday, but point guard Russell Westbrook poured in a career-high 33 in the loss. It might be time to put the former first-round pick among the elite fantasy guards in the NBA.
Westbrook is averaging more than 18 points per game so far this season, and is also grabbing more than five rebounds per. But his defense and ball distribution are what make him special.
The second-year man out of UCLA is dishing out nearly eight assists per night and is shooting 50 percent from the field. If you can still get Westbrook on a buy-low basis in your fantasy league, get him, get him now. He and Brandon Jennings are the next two elite point guards in the NBA, and the transformation appears to be happening already.

Wow...
very high praise, he’s starting to get some respect. If he can keep his TOs down he will be great.
