Durant top 5? hows about top 3!!!!!!

I may sound like i am going out on a limb here but i feel as if this is actually going to be true, this is not a whacky prediction and some outlandish post where i am taking a wild guess just to see what you guys would say...i actually believe that Kevin Durant will be the #3 on the top scoring list this season.

I have thought about it and have watched alot of Thunder games and as you all know, the guy scores way too easily from everywhere on the floor! if this dude cut back on some of his assists? he would average 30ppg easily, but we all know that wont happen because KD has been on a mission to become more of an all around player and has been working hard on his defense as well so that wont happen anytime soon.

But i kid you not! KD will average 28.3ppg and rank 3rd place behind Lebron this season you can quote me on that!

This post does not reflect the views of the staff of Welcome to Loud City or SB Nation. However, it was made by one of the members of the Welcome to Loud City community, so there is a large chance the above post is extremely ballin'!

Lebron

will have to average a ball-hog-like 33 ppg this season to keep his team afloat. The Shaq experiment will fail miserably. KD will average 28ish playing team ball. He will have to wait on the scoring title.

Same Carmelo

He had to drop 41 just to get past a blazer team that only shot 34%. That is not good for Denver at all

How the hell did that happen? I am Trailblazer fan to the core but I love me some OKC THunder!!! Must be the Hometown pride I feel.

as Bill Simmons likes to say

Durant was put on this planet to put the ball in the basket. He should be able to average 24-26 per game pretty effortlessly and with the guys he has around him he will get his share of easy baskets.

however

the talent around KD may limit what he has to do offensively.

Wade and Lebron will have to average a ton of points for their teams to be successful, and I think Melo will need to average around 28-30 for the Nuggets to be as successful as they were last year.

If only all three could merge into some voltron-like basket ball machine.
