Anyone watching on TV

Or is everybody at the Ford Center tonight?

So far pre-game on KSBI on DirecTV is in Standard Def, bleh, I can tolerate that as long as the game is HD. Its not even listed on the guide at all, so its a way and see sort of thing.

I guess I can’t watch it. On channel 3 here in tulsa it’s showing Cowboy Football Roundup. This sucks

Ugh!

Cox so Sucks. That’s why I dropped them. DirecTV at least has KSBI but not HD :-(

We need a super powerful Digital Antenna I guess to watch this game in HD.

Sucks man, you can always click that WWLS icon at the top to listen to the game. After just listening to the first game though, I dunno, I just think it sucks not being able to see the game. I guess its better than nothing.

love what you do w/ the graphics!

This game isn’t on in Phx so I don’t expect it will garner much interest on the Suns side of the house…I’ll look for your recap tomorrow to see if Durant’s +/- was up to par

Thunder out to a flying start...

11-0 with 8:48 remaining.

Defense spurred 6 of the 8 points in the first minute, and then Jeff Green just put in 3 free throws to take it to 11-0.

The Suns look a little sloppy out there offensively so far.

Durant playing some D

The Suns ran off an inbound catching the Thunder off guard, everyone but KD who was there with the block at the other end. Nice hustle.

End of the 1st Quarter

Oklahoma City Thunder 29, Phoenix Suns 22

The Thunder came out flying defensively and score 8 of their 29 1st quarter points withing the very first minute of the ballgame. Subtract those first 8 points and its been relatively even since, at least on the scoreboard (21-22).

The lead really dwindled when the Thunder starters left the court and a lot of the reserves took the court. Guys like Kevin Ollie, Serge Ibaka, and DJ White. Ibaka has looked ferocious defensively at times despite this group giving up a lot of the lead.

Do you think

looking at him, he can be a legit defensive post force?

by ElectricPencils on Oct 12, 2009 7:47 PM CDT up reply actions

So far,

I tend to describe him as a “disruptor” in the post. I don’t know how well he defend a big center backing him down or something like that, but he will fly across the screen and block a shot he had no business blocking, which is a GREAT thing.

LOL

Not gonna happen. Green is hustling all over the court and has the past two games, playing really hard, and the announcers were talking about how much of a leadership role he’s taken on. His shots just aren’t falling right now. 2-7 tonight, 0-2 behind the arc, and 3-5 at the line. He does have THREE steals though to go with a couple boards, assists, and 7 points.

End of the 1st half

Oklahoma City Thunder, 53, Phoenix Suns 47

All in all a pretty half for the Thunder. 14 points scored off 13 Phoenix Turnovers isn’t bad at all. The Thunder are hustling all over the court, there is no doubt about that.

Give him time.

Guard is a difficult position to come right in and be amazing. RW0 looked sloppy early last season as well. The potential is there, give him time. Thabo played great tonight so there really is no hurry to rush him in the starting lineup this season.
